Too bad I didn't buy death insurance for them! I will have to pay for the yarn out of my own pocket to knit another pair. However, I just got my new KnitPicks catalog today so I am picking out yarn. I know for sure this is the yarn I will be using. I am just debating on colors. Should it be petal and rhubarb? Tide Pool and Dusk? Cinnamon and Nutmeg? Moss and Honey? Coal and Strawberry? Leave me a comment and let me know your favorite combination.

Butternut and Harvest. Yes, I know that wasn't a combination you listed, but it's what I like.
I say petal and rubharb. (Then get some ultra suede and line those soles. ) Felted wears longer than unfelted... but it just doesn't wear forever, as you can see here:
