Vacation Insurance

It seems like this week and next are the big weeks for vacationing around here. A lot of our friends and neighbors will be gone for one reason or another. Something that was brought to my attention last fall was travel insurance. My Mom went on a Canadian Rockies tour and had to have Vacation insurance. I had never even heard of it before then. TravelSafe Insurance is a 35 year old, family owned business that provides most comprehensive travel insurance coverage in the industry. Their comprehensive vacation insurance covers trip cancellation, interruption, travel delay, lost baggage, worldwide health & medical coverage, emergency medical evacuation (hospital of choice), hurricane protection, terrorism and more. Wow. Most of that stuff I don't even think of when I travel. But I think it would be a wise thing to look into when we travel next.
