Teens and Acne Products

I have noticed a change in the bathroom usage in the last few months. Apparently I now have 2 full blown teens in the house and the bathroom can prove it. I completely forgot that boys primp almost as much as girls! Suddenly the face care products seem to be emptying themselves down the drain because no one claims to be using them. Thankfully neither of the older kids have had to deal with a major acne breakout. There are so many products on the market for acne that is very confusing to know what is the right product to use.

Just recently I discovered a natural acne treatment. This is beyond the topical treatments that can be bought at any pharmacy. It is also beyond the oral antibiotics that some doctors prescribe to patients with bad cases of acne. This acne light treatment consists of sitting in front of a portable red-blue light for 15 minutes a day. That's it. The specific wavelengths of light are supposed to decrease the amount of acne a person gets. The claim is that after just four weeks of daily exposure to this red-blue light a person will see a noticeable results.

I am a bit skeptical about this treatment. I know that there is no acne cure. Although this one does not claim to be a cure it does claim to be better than any other treatment option. I guess maybe it just rubs me the wrong way that this product claims to be better than all the rest. I have never seen a product similar to this advertised or sold here in the US. In fact, if you live in the US you cannot buy Beauty Skin's product because they do not ship it here. Really as lovely and easy as this light sounds, I think I will pass. My teens can just keep claiming that they aren't the ones using all of the acne products and I will keep buying them.
