Will They Stop It In Time?

Wow. Did you ever think that gas prices would get so high that it would make you think about every thing you do? I mean really, our kids are in less activities because of gas prices. Families all around us are cutting back on extras like summer sports, luxury vacations, weekend outings, eating out and even certain groceries. At what point does our government step in? I know they have drug the oil big whigs into congress twice in the last month to answer some hard questions. But it needs to go beyond that. People will soon not be able to even afford driving to work or the grocery store. Enough is enough. There is only so much that the economy can take before it spirals it to nothingness. I feel that spiral is starting and the longer it goes on the more likely it will be that it won't stop. It scares me to no end to contemplate the ramifications.
