Going To Do It
My Mom had a doctor appointment yesterday that has made me decide that I need to get this weight off now. I am just about willing to try anything to make that happen...except diet pills and appetite suppressants. Appetite isn't my problem, you know? My appetite is normal but my cravings are out of control. So this morning I started out with 2 servings of Cheerios and skim milk. I am determined to lose 50lbs by the end of the year. My short term goal is to get 10lbs off by the time my kids are out of school. That gives me 8 weeks. I think that is very doable!

Buy.com
If you have not visited buy.com, you need to. They have all of the coolest items on Sale at prices that are more like super-d-duper clearance than just sale. No matter what product you are in the market for, from clothes to electronics, you really should be checking out buy.com before you shop anywhere else. I am impressed by the amount of items that they stock at fabulous prices. And the weekly deals are the best! Love them.
Finally Out!
Okay, after having 2 puppies in the house for a few months, I am in desperate need of some industrial supplies for cleaning! We finally moved the puppies outside for good this weekend. My sister and I cleaned the wood floor and the carpet in the dining room. Truly this is the only room that really needed any attention after the puppies. I am thankful for that! I have seen entire houses that have been trashed from pets. Of course, that could have been the owners as much as it was the pets. If you know what I mean.

Insurance
It won't be long now and we are going to have to really search for some decent car insurance for the kids. My father-in-law is our agent and he has always done a great job of finding us the best insurance from car to affordable term life insurance. We have always had good coverage, a low deductible and a low premium. I don't think that you can ask for any better than that! It does make me a bit nervous to think that we are going to have 2 teen drivers on our car insurance at once. However, I suppose we are no different than most families in that respect. Somehow we will figure it all out.
Equipment
I have just about decided that my kids should start asking for sports gifts for Christmas. We just got Clint his baseball equipment and just about broke the bank! And I am just talking basic equipment and not even a bat. Sliding shorts, ball glove, batting gloves, socks and a belt. He picked out on of the cheaper ball gloves so we got away with spending around $100 total. I know that it could have been a lot more than that but it still hurts.
